International holiday and business travelers to the United States, using the Visa Waiver Program, must now apply online for authorization prior to travelling.
It is recommended that this be done at least 72 hours prior to departure.

The online process is simple and will eventually replace the previous on board paperwork required for entry into the USA using the visa waiver programme.
